Case Study - Taromina React
I wanted a concrete project to learn React and Node.js while building a more reusable system than the earlier versions.
Previous prototypes were isolated from one another (Flash, Unity, Telegram, Second Life, etc.).
The goal was to create a shared foundation, a central API that could power multiple interfaces without having to rewrite everything each time.
Role
Project design, front-end and back-end development, API creation, and architecture planning.
The Solution
I developed the front-end in React and the back-end in Node.js, with an independent Python API hosted on Google Cloud. This API manages the card draws, interpretations, and deck data, and can be used for a web app, a bot, or a future mobile application. The project allowed me to test a multi-language architecture (React / Node / Python) and explore communication between these environments. It also serves as a testbed for upcoming AI integrations.
The Results
TarotMina React helped me strengthen my modern full stack skills. The project is modular and scalable, ready to be adapted for other platforms such as Telegram, Second Life, or a mobile app. It’s both a technical exercise and a nod to my early days as a coder, a tradition I’ve kept alive for nearly 30 years.
