Three years ago, I created the first website for Passione Gatti ODV, a cat rescue organization run by an American volunteer living in Italy. At the time, the goal was to give the shelter a professional online presence and make it easier to introduce each cat waiting for adoption.
Since then, the organization has continued to grow. More rescues, more volunteers, more stories to share, and many more cats looking for a forever home meant the original website had naturally reached its limits.
A website designed for everyday work
Rather than simply refreshing the design, I decided to completely rebuild the project using my Lubinik WordPress framework.
The new website is not just more modern. It has been redesigned to simplify the daily work of volunteers by making every aspect of content management faster and more intuitive.
Cat profiles, blog articles, fundraising campaigns, events, and informational pages can now all be managed from a cleaner and more flexible administration interface.
More than a redesign
The project also received a refreshed visual identity with an updated logo and a cleaner, brighter design that reflects the welcoming spirit of the organization.
Behind the scenes, the website now runs on the Cat Adoption Manager addon developed as part of my Lubinik ecosystem, providing a scalable foundation that will continue to grow alongside the shelter.
Supporting the mission
Technology should never become an obstacle for volunteers.
The objective of this rebuild was simple: spend less time maintaining a website and more time rescuing cats, organizing adoptions, and raising awareness.
I’m proud to continue supporting Passione Gatti ODV as the project evolves and helps even more cats find a loving family. ❤️🐱
