Case Study - Passione Gatti ODV

The shelter had no digital presence at all, no website, no logo, and no way to easily post cats for adoption or share updates about its needs.
The founder also wanted to publish articles and list recommended products for donations, but without having to deal with technical maintenance.

Three years after the original website was launched, the shelter had grown considerably. More cats, more content, and more daily activity meant the original website had reached its limits. The goal was no longer to create an online presence from scratch, but to modernize the platform with a faster, more flexible system that would simplify content management while supporting future growth.

Role

Web developer, designer, logo creator, content management, ongoing support.

The Solution

I completely rebuilt the website using my Lubinik WordPress framework and the Cat Adoption Manager addon I developed specifically for animal shelters. Rather than simply migrating the old content, I redesigned the entire experience with a cleaner interface, improved navigation, responsive layouts, and a much more powerful management system. The new platform makes it easier to manage cat profiles, blog posts, events, donations, and future updates while remaining simple enough for volunteers to use every day. I also redesigned the visual identity with a refreshed logo and continue to provide maintenance, new features, and ongoing support.

I also handle regular updates, new adoptions, blog posts, and visuals for donation drives and local campaigns.

The Results

The shelter now benefits from a modern, scalable platform built on reusable technology that will support its growth for years to come. Content management is significantly easier, the website is faster and more maintainable, and visitors enjoy a smoother experience when browsing cats, reading news, or supporting the organization. The project has evolved from a custom website into a complete digital ecosystem powered by Lubinik.

The shelter now has a clear, consistent identity and a vibrant, easy-to-navigate website. Visitors can browse the cats, read updates, and find practical ways to help.
